About Russel Dankwa Boakye

Hello! I’m Russel, a full-stack software engineer who loves building practical, dependable software and keeping it running long after launch. For me, shipping is only half the job. The other half is making sure what I build holds up when real people rely on it every day.

Since starting my journey in 2020, I’ve worked on e-commerce platforms, veterinary practice software, business management systems, ride-hailing and delivery backends, and real-time messaging. Most of my work sits on the backend and web side, with PHP/Laravel, Node.js/TypeScript and Python, and I build and ship mobile apps with Flutter when a product needs them. I also enjoy the parts people don’t see: running and migrating production infrastructure, designing media pipelines, and tracking down bugs in live systems.

Lately I’ve been building internal tools that help engineering teams move faster, including AI-assisted workflows that pull real production context to help diagnose issues.

Beyond coding, I enjoy working collaboratively, learning from other developers, and staying plugged into tech trends and best practices. I approach each project with curiosity and dedication, aiming to create solutions that are as intuitive for users as they are enjoyable to develop.
